April Fool's Dog

It's April Fool's Day. I'm on my way to work, sitting at a stoplight behind loads of cars. They start to inch forward, so I lift my foot from the brake pedal, wondering how long the light will stay green.

All of a sudden...WHAM, BAM, KABOOM! Yep, I got clobbered from behind, pushed forward and into the car ahead of me. April Fool's Day joke? Don't I wish.

End result..two cars towed. One car dented. Aching neck, shoulder, and back (mine). Numerous and annoying converations with police, insurance companies, auto body shop, doctor's office and car rental place.

I got home and limped around the house, frazzled by the morning. But not to worry, Indy found a way to help me forget the entire ordeal, at least for a while. But not in any ordinary way, like with snuggling or kisses.

Instead he gallantly lifted his leg on the camping gear stashed in the basement.

His plan worked.

Well, it was bad enough, but I'm certainly glad it wasn't worse to the point where ambulances were involved! Take care!

As for Bogey the leg-lifter...le sigh.

BOL he made you move around more thus the blood circulation took all the aches away. Right? Wrong! So glad to hear you are alright. You must go see a chiropractor asap. Get him to align your bones again before they decide to stay in the wrong position after the hit. On the other hand, I hope you're better already and you don't even need one.
It's going to be one grateful easter at your home :)

Pat, I thought I had a bad April Fool's day until I read your post. You win. I had to go in for a routine colonoscopy and neglected to read the prep directions. I mixed the laxative with 128!!! ounces of gatorade. It called for only 64. I gag when I look at it on a store shelf. It was like I pranked myself. Glad you are okay!

Grammy says you have a great sense of humor! That is to bad about your car/back and neck, and Grammy is praying that you will feel better VERY SOON. She has an injured back and hip and does NOT like back pain!
