Hooray for Weekends

Last weekend, both dogs and people were amazed by this pink confection

It's Friday, everyone's favorite day of the week. Why? Because that means the weekend has arrived.

Don't you just love weekends?

It's great to sleep in (at least a little later than usual until that cold nose can no longer be ignored), sip tea, dress casual, and tool around town like you have all day to get there.

The most fun events always happen on weekends, too. Last weekend we went to an enormous car show. Dogs are apparently very avid car show lovers. I think we saw more dogs of every shape and size than we saw vehicles! I didn't tell Indy. He'd be extremely annoyed that he wasn't invited along.

Tomorrow we're attending an all day barbecue and music affair. Indy gets to go, too. Can you imagine the yummy treats he's going to get? Perhaps I should invest in some doggie anti-indigestion pills, just in case.

Anyway, we hope you've got some fun plans scheduled. And whatever that may involve, keep safe and have a wonderful time!

Hey Pat! Sounds like the perfect weekend starter, and the weather is supposed to cooperate, too. Have a great time!

I love going places where my dog is welcome. As a service dog she can go anywhere, but it's so much better if she's invited!

I won't tell Lady about the all-day barbecue outing. The best she gets is a ride to town in the car or to Happy Hour at Sonic! Alas.

Have fun--be safe--and take a treat home to poor left-behind Bogey!

Well, I can't take my cat with me anywhere, but that's okay. Yes, the weekends are full of fun things, but I don't mind staying home either :-)

Ooh--sounds fun! And what a perfect day for it! As I've read this, I've had the Biggest Eyes Ever imploring me to start on the yard work. Well, at least it's fun for one of us....

Some Fridays are different from others BOL We have been so busy in our home that for a while we're going to use up our weekends to play major catch up with everything. Glad to see everybody is well and that my furiend Indy is threatened with potential indigestion tomorrow :)

That's the kind of weekend my Dad loves. He's really into old cars. He had a 1951 Desoto for several years and then traded it for a 1967 Dodge Dart. Grammy kind of likes the old cars and the car shows, too. I love it when he goes places where he can take me and, sometimes, Mercy.
