The grass is lush and tall and the flowers are brilliant with color, while people scurry from car to building and back covered by umbrellas or racing to dodge more raindrops. Another soggy weekend.
How do you handle a rainy weekend?
At our house, there's one certain and much-loved way to spend the time.

We milk our goats, feed our baby goats, do our farm chores... all in the rain :)
Looks like my kind of day! I'm sick of this rain, but I'll keep taking it, if it will be nice and sunny on Friday!....Outdoor graduation ceremony!!
If I am on the east coast, a nap is the only way!
Out here in the desert a walk in the rain is required (not by my dog)

Naps are always a favorite!
We get plenty of rainy weekends in these parts so we just go about business as usual, but it's my favorite time to curl up with a good book or a good movie. I enjoyed the "blog hop!" Thanks for posting about it - you were my link to the fun. I've met some new blog friends, which is always a treat!
Now that is one happy cat nap :)

it's raining at my house, too. it started last night. my mama says it had been very very dry, so we really needed the rain. when i went outside in the backyard to potty this morning, i could tell that daddy's garden and my new tree were really really happy! :)

We do the same thing as usual EXCEPT for cleaning off muddy corgi pups who LOVE playing in the rain!
