Storms of Summer

We've been having many days of intense heat and high humidity. Yesterday one of the "scattered showers" predicted by weather forecasters turned into a dandy storm with plenty of lightening and high winds.  Once things finally calmed down...

"Hey Mom! Take a look at this!"

Rats. Another thing to add to the weekend to-do list.

It's always good to have a list. That way, when something comes up that you don't want to do you have plenty of valid rationalizations (much better than excuses, no?)

Your babies are so cute. Are they afraid of storms?

Hello there!

We will take some of your rain too!

We are soooooo tired of 100 degree days.

Sorry about your tree. That looks like it will be a lot of work!

Lots of Luv & Kisses

Never a dull moment! I feel your pain - it's either humid and sweltering or a monsoon these days.

PS - love your blog! Tagged you in an award, so I hope you'll come check it out:

It looks like you have a little firewood for the winter. if that's the kind of wood that burns?

We've had the same kind of weather. When thunder comes, I like to go in the bathroom & protect the bathtub!

Pat, I didn't realize you had such a huge yard. I'm sorry about the tree. We've had quite a few days in a row of doozy storms, haven't we?? Poor Tiger is so afraid of them. The other night was another one of those nights spent, sleeping on the couch, to be near her!
