Book Cover Meme

Writers are so creative...and fun, too!

Lisa, over at Writing in the Buff has created a meme you're sure to enjoy. Each Friday she challenges writers to create a back cover blurb for a faux book cover. The blurb must be 150 words or less. Hop over and give it a try. Here's my contribution at seventy-three words:

Title: The Eyes Have It

When local librarian David Booker is murdered, parliamentarian expert and part-time sleuth Katrina J'anal, knows something is definitely out of order. Her prime suspect, man-about-town Clint Hunkington, refuses to cooperate with Kat's investigation. She discovers him breaking into the scene of the crime, and Kat realizes he's hiding something that's bound to propel them both into perils far beyond amending a debatable motion. What is Clint's secret?

And is he a man Kat can love...or a killer?

Just the name is enough to draw the reader in. You have a definite way with words!

Clint Hunkington? A brilliant name!

Pat--if you have not seen "The Mean Kitty Song" on Youtube, you should check it out.(It might be under "Hey Little Sparta.") It might make you chuckle. (A blog I follow---Fireblossom---linked me up to it.)

What a great idea! (and here I thought blurbs were only for the real thing- hahaha!-what fun is there in that, anyhow?)

Such a fun idea! I like your blurb - neat the he's a parliamentarian. I have a friend who is actually a certified parliamentarian, and she's the only one I've ever met!
