He did well with birthday loot, receiving several new treats that he liked so much they were consumed before I could find my camera.
Here's Bogey's new "teaser"...always a big hit. Why not? It contains his favorite thing: feathers.
After a hard few minutes of play, Bogey inspects his new bed, placed perfectly in front of his very own bird-viewing window.
Of our wildest wild child, Hubby looked at this unusually relaxed kitty and asked a question filled with hope.
"Do you suppose he'll start calming down now?"
Ummm...I wouldn't let that deceptively sweet face fool you.

Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog the other day. It's nice to meet you Bogey and Indy. Happy Birthday Bogey. I think Bogey likes the new bed. It is in such a prime location too looking out the window. (Mommy says in her old house, she had a pillow on the desk by the window so her pets could look out the window. This post reminded her of the pillow she used to have on the desk.) I also read your post on the 5th of July -- I thought my neighborhood was bad with fireworks -- I would hate to live in yours. But of course I tired myself out so much partying and eating BBQ on the 4th that I was so tired I slept thru most of the fireworks.
What a handsome dude you are, Bogey......we're sorry we missed your actual birthday....do you think we could celebrate it again today?????
