Ah dripping water, it takes me back to my other life as a great wolf who owned the land. Of the tiny trickly creeks with their fresh crisp water. drinking to my hearts content.
then I was shot by a rancher, thus I now live this life with My Vickie and the boaring old water bowls.
Oh and did I tell you I have quite an imagination?
I know of at least one dog who'd only drink from a running tap (the bathtub tap). Miro will drink only freshly poured water. He'll share a water bowl with Alanis but will not drink from bowls where stranger-dogs have drunk.
Haha! Love the pics. All three of my cats will share the dogs' water bowl, but Tabby's preference is running tap water. Bailey likes (I'm not kidding) water from a glass with ice cubes. Luna is a kitten and wants to play with the ice cubes and the running tap water. LOL The dogs could care less, as long as the bowl is kept full.

Pat, this is the only way my cat liked to drink water. What is it about that trickle that turns them on?

It's been years since we've owned cats but I loved the ones we had....or hadbus to be more precise.
My kitty does that too--They also like water from my glasses-once Baby even sampled some of my wine-oops

Fun post. My last dog used to dump his water over and drink it from the floor. At least your kitty is a little neater.
