Last week I attended a conference in Houston, Texas. Today, I log into Blogger for the first time in a week and...Surprise!
Everything looks different. Even as I type these words, I'm not sure they'll show up. Or post. Or that anyone will be able to read them if they do post.
I feel lost in the Blogosphere. What the heck happened? Am I the only one that didn't get the memo?
P.S. If anyone sees this, send help. And I hope to visit your blogs soon.
If I can ever find them...

Hey Pat! This is part of why I ranted on my blog on April 24th. I don't like change, and especially when it is "forced" upon us! I've been searching for other free or "almost free" blogs....
It will be okay... PROMISE! If the peep can figure it out, anyone can. And I do mean ANYONE. I have the most technologically challenged peep in the whole, entire world. The new Blogger just takes some getting used to, I think.
IT is really AWFUL!!! I can't get any of my Scheduled Pre-Posts to come up by themselves... and I hate all the WHITE space on what I USED to call My DASHBOARD... now I just call it.. BORING.
You are NOT alone.
Rude Awakening isn't it. For a couple of months now they have been warning us that a new interface was coming. Like it or not - it's here and not all that easy to use either. I'm still fumbling around. Your post did turn out, so you are on the road.
We don't like it - and although others say it isn't bad and we'll get used to it, we don't think we will -
About the only feature we can tolerate is picture loading - no more have to do five at a time AND backwards - now you can upload all of them AND in the correct order but -
THEN you need to change their size and/or placement -
And don't get me started on trying to add text -
Unlike Frankie, ours are posting per the schedule we set -
I got the shock last week, but I am getting the hang of it now. So there is hope! :)
No, it was all of us.
Blogger just changed overnight.
I am such a technophobe that it took forever to figure out what to do on the old blogger - dog knows how long this new version will take me, sigh!

It's not too bad...once you get the hang of it. :)

You can switch back to your old dashboard by clicking on the little cog wheel on the right of your screen. But it's only temporary. Blogger will get rid of the old dashboard in a months time. I am like you, I don't like the new one at all, and will hold on to my old dashboard until the bitter end! lol!
dont worry, we are all still here! I dont know about everyone else, but i'm not quite sure how to do everything yet. I like all the new stats they show in the dashboard though. I just dont like that I can't see comments pending, other peoples' posts, and everything else all in one screen..not sure how i feel about it yet!
It's making me crazy!
It's a change, but my mom person has been using it for weeks and it's not very hard to get used to. If she can figure it out you can too :)

It is a little confusing in the beginning, but once you get used to it, it's not so bad...just hate the change!!! It wasn't broke...don't know why they tried to fix???
We hate change too and I agree, very confusing:{
It was a shock - I'm gradually figuring it out. My scheduled posts seem to be working okay though. Blogger still is easier than Facebook which makes my head spin.

There was a change, hummm, maybe it is like everything else, just takes longer to get to Alaska?
Is not change grand?!?!

Ha! Yap, no memo was sent. That's Free-dom fur yaz Hardy har har. It's a bit of a pain butt if you just kind of putz around the new format for a bit you'll start to get the hang of it :)
Waggin at ya,
Roo
If there was a memo, I don't think a lot of people got it :-).
While I despise the new FB timeline, I love the new Blogger design, esp being able to see the # of page views and know that the scarcity of comments doesn't mean people haven't read the blog!
I like change when it's an improvement, but...why did they make it *less* clear??
