Back at Home
Aren't mountains lovely? This view of the Sandia Mountains was right outside my hotel room in Albuquerque. Apparently there's a tram ride to the top of the mountain range. Unfortunately, we were kept busy in meetings all day and got no closer to the mountains than this.
New Mexico is a fascinating place and one that I'd love to explore further some day. Considered a "minority majority" state, the population is made up of more Native Americans and Hispanics than any other ethnic group.
Here's a fact you may not know about Albuquerque. A few years ago they outlawed the practice of selling dogs and cats from pet stores. What a great way to minimize the puppy mill industry. (Are you listening, Missouri?)
Meanwhile, back at home, snow is in drifts everywhere. I missed the first major winter storm in two years and I'm not one bit sorry. In fact, I just made a quick phone call.
Hello, Spring? It's me. I can't wait for your lusciously plump and single-mindedly spectacular appearance.
Coming anytime soon?

The mountain is beautiful. I've always wanted to visit New Mexico because of the diversity and also Sante Fe because of the artsy world. Maybe some day.
Spring also heard from me. My cowowrker wore snowman earrings, hoping for snow. If she has them on this week, I will rip them from her ears :)
Gorgeous mountains

Coming anytime soon indeed and we can't wait. Safe trip home. Have a marvelous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
Beautiful view!
Glad you had a good time.
Sounds like Alburquerque have got the right idea about selling dogs and cats. If only we could get rid of puppy mills forever.

Beautiful. I've never been there, but my cousin lives in New Mexico and loves it.
I've never been there but it looks like I am missing out!
We have no pet stores that sell puppies or kittens here, no law in place. Just responsible stores I guess. They all have organizations that do adoption clinics on the weekends, even better!
I was there years ago and loved it. I would definitely like to go back. Thanks for sharing your lovely photo.
