Hair Today Gone Tomorrow
My very shaggy dog (otherwise known as Indy) went to the spa and got a complete shave-down. I think it gives his face a nearly dachshund look...very dashing. However, the loss of fur means Indy has been shivering his timbers in the snappy cool March winds. Thus we've added a sweater to his look. It really isn't a fashion statement. It's to keep the little guy warm.
What are YOU looking at?
Sadly, visiting dog, Brady, and resident cat, Bogey are not at all impressed by his new 'do. I've seen them point and snicker at him more than once.
But not to worry. Indy is a good sport and takes every bit of their harassment in stride.
Pfffffffft!

I need to get the same look for my dog, she looks like someone dragged her through a hedge backwards.

You do look dashing my friend. Hope that sweater is keeping you warm.
LOL! Be brave, Indy! I once had a long-haired indoor cat named Fang. Of course, he got neutered, then de-clawed. Finally, during hot weather, I would have him shaved. He really was more comfy, and those nasty hairballs took a hike. However, he had a nasty disposition. My mother once commented, "Well, no wonder--you took his manhood, his self-defense, and now his fur coat." Hmmm.
Go Job ... Give 'em the ol' RASPBERRY Indy.
Well I for one think you look just fine.
Blessings,
Goose
Oh, I love Indy's new look! He's such a handsome guy! And love the sweater. Even big 'ol Vern gets cold and wears sweaters! :)
Looking good Indy and we think you look swell in your sweater. It is too early for us to have a trim as we have more bad weather to come. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
OMG too cute! Years ago I had a dog who shed in winter and got her winter coat in spring.
He's a cutie even without all his fur!
He looks very nice in his sweater.

Hi Pat,
This is my first visit and I must say...that cat of yours is a ringer for my Posie. Even the same kinda mean looking eyes. My Posie is quite temperamental and small as cats go...is your feline at all like this? Oh, and btw...thanks for your nice comment on my blog! I'm a follower of yours now!
