The View from the Hotel Window
No, this view isn't mine. Daughter sent the picture to me. She's in Hawaii with her fiance, soaking up sun and playing golf. But don't think I'm left out of the fun. No indeed. I have a four-footed guest at my house for a whole week.
Meet Tinker Bell. She's a very optimistic dog. Her typical perch is on top of the couch where she can easily stare at the front door and wait. Whenever the door opens, she wags her tail and runs to greet the arrival. Unfortunately, it's never the person she's looking for. Don't worry, Lassie, er, I mean Tink, Mom will be home soon.
Fun in the sun. Doesn't that sound lovely? Perhaps I can do something to give us a beautiful vacationy feel right here at home. H'mmm.
Got it! I'm going to take that Hawaii picture and make it poster size to cover my bedroom window.
Every time I wake up...wow! What a view!

Hawaii looks lovely! Wish I were there, with Ryker of course! Don't worry little Tink! Your mama will be home soon and well rested and ready to play!
Oh sweet Tinker Belle momma will be home soon

That is a great idea!

Ha, you could probably make a small fortune making that photo into window covers. I miss the sunshine and warm weather. Have fun withyour granddoggy.
I spent two weeks in Hawaii in December...and the view was indeed spectacular! Maybe you should also put up a picture of Tink's Mommy to help with separation anxiety! Lady was much aggrieved at being left two weeks plus!
Naww.... Poor Tink, hope her peeps bring her back something nice...
Great idea. That is quite a view to wake up to. Have a marvelous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
Oh, what I wouldn't give to be in Hawaii soaking up the sun!
Tinkerbell is a real cutie.

Aloha Tinkerbell your mom will be home soon. Is she is Maui? I love it there. Wish I was there now. Due to get 9 more inches of snow tomorrow. Not looking forward to it. Want the tropical paridise. But for now taking the picture and putting over window sounds like a great idea. Have a great week.
What a view is right. Wow! Tink is adorable! I'm sure she loves you, but there's no one quite like Mom. When we grand-dog sit for my daughter's chocolate Lab, Lola, Lola spends the first half hour padding to the front door to whine. Treats usually bring her around. LOL
I'm puppy sitting next week-end, but Ripley isn't nearly as tiny as your house guest!. The picture is a great idea. A friend of mine, put in pictures of a Caribbean beach along with shutters to make it look like windows and used bamboo fencing on the ceiling to make it look like a hut. It's a fun room.
