Spring Has Sprung (Sort of)
What happened to Spring?
The flowers have pushed from the earth, blossoms bedeck the trees, and we've got snow on the ground. Yes, snowflakes big as silver dollars are back to say hello. Winston is confused, but then again he's only five months old and still learning about the strange world he lives in.
Welcome to Missouri, Winston. You've been born into one of the few states where it's routine to wear a tank top and a down-filled parka within the same week.
Since today is Sunday, I'd suggest sipping a cup of hot chocolate while you read a book, work on a project, or watch that movie you've been thinking about. Our snowy day won't last long.
On Tuesday, the temperature is predicted to be over 70 degrees.
Happy first day of Spring!

We are facing a cold snap too. It is chilly and the winter wear is on, but like you next week we could be in shorts lol!
Same here in Texas. We had golf ball size hailstones pummeling everything in sight. It's 80 degrees one day and 40 the next!

Happy first day of Spring to you and Winston!
We had a bit of snow earlier this week, but the sun is shining here in Saskatchewan and the forecast is for temperatures above freezing this afternoon. We've no flowers just yet, but that's not unusual since we're normally still living with snow banks.
Enjoy you day!
Poor Winston--he just blends in with the snow.
The wacky weather phenomenon is spreading itself around. We're experiencing the same down here in Georgia, but without the snow. The daffodils are going to be very confused this week. lol
The snow was beautiful though, even if it was a bit crazy for the first day of Spring. And Winston appears to be loving his new family!
I really had to look closely to find Winston. Maybe a children's book: Where in the world is Winston?
Sounds like you are having the same crazy weather we are. Don't worry Winston, you will learn to love it!
The same craziness here in Cali... February was blazing hot. I slept with the windows open. March has been cold!
