It appears that a goat herder in India has an assistant...a monkey named Mani. Nursed back to health after injuries, Mani has taken on the responsibility of shepherding the goats, and completely without the benefit of training. Check out the video on the National Geographic website.
This could open a whole range of possibilities, couldn't it?
Forget about goat herding. I could use some help at home.
"Oh Mani, could you please take out the trash?"
I'll bet that monkey would be a lot more reliable than my husband!

What a fascinating story, and I enjoyed the video also! I think I need someone like her to walk Lady. . .hmmmm. . .well, it's a thought.
