Name Game-One Day Late

We're late to the Name Game party due to being out of town, but decided to participate anyway.

Thanks to Frankie for the suggestion!

Indy's growing lots of gray hair now, but when he came to live with us he was black as India ink and into just about everything. I thought about naming him India for his black-as-night coat, but my husband had a better suggestion.  For such an adventurous pup, what better name than Mr. Indiana Bones? Perfect!

This one was a no-brainer. A cool cat requires a cool namesake. Could there have been a more laid back, cool, collected actor than Humphrey Bogart? Not that I can think of, anyway. Thus our bad-boy cool cat became Bogey, without the signature cigarette.

Some names come easy, some require a lot of contemplation.  Yet we all reach the same conclusion.

The perfect name for our furred, finned, or feathered friends!

P.S. Remember the Six Word Story contest!

Indiana Jones was a brave guy indeed and I am sure your pup is living up to his namesake!
Love Humphrey Bogart/Lauren Bacall movies so of course I love that you named your cat after him!
Don't know what the six word story is so I'll check it out. I went to a writing class a few months ago and I'm pretty sure I was introduced to the contest then...

India ink! Cool. I respect the explanation on the cat name :)
If I was offensive in my post today, please let me know. Your comment worried me. If I wasn't offensive, ignore this and I'll get it. Thank you!

I love the name game. I'm having an All About Your People day Friday 7/16 on my blog. I'd love for you to click over & check it out so you can post!

I think both of your names suit you very well. I wonder if I will turn from all black to salt & pepper when I get older?
