Just In Case

Just in case someone at work took the last piece of birthday cake.

Just in case your significant other forgot to make a deposit that caused three checks to bounce.

Just in case the cat threw up on the only place the carpet had left without a spot.

Just in case the dog got loose and you had to chase him around the neighborhood wearing only your nightgown.

Just in case you're sweating and swearing and sweltering on yet another steamy day in July, remember this.

Only five months from today we'll be thinking about other things.

Merry Christmas.

OMG good one! I sure hope that none of those things happened to you!

The only thing worse about chasing a dog in your nightgown is when he sits in a neighbor's yard and the sprinklers come on while you try to retrieve him. The joys of being a doggie mom.

I sure hope you didn't have to chase the dog in a nightgown. It could be worse - in my old neighborhood a grown lady had to chase her pitbull down the street. She heard all the commotion outside and she had just enough time to get out of the shower wearing only her underwear and a shower cap -- she ran outside topless holding a towel to cover her front half. She ended up getting the dog to come back. Now that is a good dog mom -- putting your dog first and your own dignity second!

A timely post! My bedspread is in the washer...my cat hocked up a fur ball on it, along with part of her breakfast. Ugh.

I love Christmas trees! Where I live it gets a little dismal after Christmas, so if I put up a big tree, I leave it up until February at the very least and maybe longer.

Its a happy making thing!
