Our hard-working and generous son brought my vision to life. I thought it would be a quick simple job. Mr. Perfectionist, however, soon showed me otherwise. I should have known that "simple" wasn't in the cards when he needed no less than two truckloads of equipment delivered.
A compressor...you know, for compressing things!
A power saw to cut and spray painter to get white paint into every nook and cranny. (By the way, overspray now neatly decorates our grass in a delightfully permanent frost. Too bad Christmas is over!)
Most men agree, one can never have too many tools.
Especially if they're power tools.
The foyer is now nearly complete and looking quite spectacular. Everyone is happy but Indy. He has a bone to pick with the entire power-building extravaganza.
(After retreating to crate)
Mom, if that nail gun fires one more time, I'm packing my food bowl and leaving home for good!!

Poor stinker Indy, but I'm sure he'll be happy (along with you) when all the work is finished!
It's looking good Indy

Hi Pat,
Love the new look.
And as writers we know how any work in progress takes time.

Wow, so so many tools...
That nail gun would have scared BabyRD too, Indy. Neat that you got so much done! Our daddy takes 4EVER to finish his projects. And mommy takes forever AND a day!! BOL.

Does your son own a power tool company, lol?
If there is one thing dogs hate, it is any kind of banging, poor old Indy.
Hugs, Lynne x
Oh Indy we hate loud noises too. It's horrible when work is getting done on the house - but it is good when it's finished. Hope it doesn't take too long - love from Magic xx
My dogs are a little put out at our renovations too. Normal doorways are covered in plastic while the texture is sprayed. Yours looks good.
Thanks for being a guest on my blog today.

Oh Indy... the pawject will be beautiful when it is finished... butt I do NOT think I would like the nail gun either.
Wow - M says that is quite a project you have going on. Looking good tho and will feel oh so good when it's done.
I have been without Stella during times like this. Poor Indy.
Haha...poor Indy! At least he knows where his safe spot is, and even though he's in it, I'd say you're the one in the doghouse!
Ahhh, I'm betting Bogey wasn't a big fan of the nail gun either. It looks like it will turn out lovely!
Most men would agree, you can never have enough tools or toys!
