Here it is! My neeeeeew bathroom! Because the bathroom is tiny, I didn't have a way to take all those lovely decorating magazine photos. So here we go, in bits and pieces...
Meet my new vanity and brushed nickel fixtures.
Here's a look at the new lights, mirror, wainscoting, and a handy dandy wall cabinet. I ordered the wall cabinet on line. Imagine my surprise when it arrived in 8 flat pieces. I thought the darn thing would come assembled, but no such luck. Thank goodness for a son who is willing to put things together for his all-thumbs mom.
How about this shower? The contractor even built a small corner seat for me. Oh, the luxury! My first use of the shower was quite an adventure. The water barely trickled from the shower head. Back came the contractor to remove the "regulator". Now the water comes out so hard it stings. Maybe it will beat my skin back into its youth. Or beat me to death. One or the other.
I wanted a basket weave pattern in green for the floor and could only do it with marble tile. The contractor stressed that I needed to seal it because marble is a soft stone. Imagine the fun I had sealing all those little pieces.
I love it. The tile man told me the finished room reminded him of the way bathrooms look on the east coast. A "beachy" look was exactly what I wanted, so I call this remodel a SUCCESS...but I'm even more happy it's finally done.
Have you tackled any remodeling projects lately?

Pat--I LOVE the bathroom, especially the floor.
We have painted our kitchen (mostly my hubby), yanked up the old tile (mostly hubby) and are going to put down a laminate floor (probably a little of me in the middle but I am clueless/hopeless when it comes to the edges/trim).
I STILL have bathroom envy. It looks maaahvelous!
Very nice, love the floor!
Just Beachy,
Wyatt
Oooooh, very posh! The floor is gorgeous, bet you are over the moon.

Peachy and beachy. Nice job. Have a fabulous Friday.
Best wishes Molly
Pawsome bathroom! Mommy likes the shower seat.
It's gorgeous!!!
My big house project at the moment is adding some concrete pavers to the back porch to make the door step easier on my 11 year old pup and my 90 year old mom.
Great job, I especially love the floor!
We are getting ready to re-carpet the downstairs. The whole house needs it but it is so expensive! Over $6,000.00 just to do the downstairs. The color is called "Apple Green".
Turned out great, Pat. Congratulations on a job well done.
I'm finally drywalling the garage. It is our year to hold the family Christmas party. Since Mom doesn't do stairs and is getting up there in years, Peg thought we should have everyone eat together in one big room. There will be about 35 of us so the garage was the only practicle answer.
Cleaning out the garage was as big a headache as doing the construction!! We both have achy backs, knees and shoulders. I guess we are getting up there in years, too.

Lovely. Lovely. The floor is gorgeous.
A few weeks ago, right before Bunco, hubby and I put up new drapes and curtains. Does that count?
It looks great. We added on a new back porch. It has been a big hit with all of us.
Beautiful, Pat. I love the floor.
About ten years ago my hubby and I gutted our bathroom and rehabbed the whole thing ourselves. It took us eight months! It was one of those projects that wasn't terribly hard to do, just tiring and time consuming. We saved a bunch of $$ doing it ourselves, but I'll never do it again!
Looking great! Hi I'm Sophie Doodle part of the Nanowrimo writers. Hope you are having a great day and looking forward to your installment!

Oh hi again....I might have made a mistake with the correct person in the list on Rocco's House blog, but your name was listed for November 10th. Don't lose any sleep these things happen in cyber-world because it so tricky getting everyone together. If you want to add a piece to the story just go to http://roccoshouse.com/nanowrimo-officially-starts-today/ and then read all the entries and add yous as a post. Too much? Don't worry then.
Thanks for dropping by my blog at least!
