It's a Weekend of Firsts!

What fun to have a weekend of firsts!

Tomorrow will be our new baby grandson's first Easter! Today Henry had a visit with the Easter bunny. He wasn't a bit upset at being held by a gigantic rabbit with scary looking deep-set eyes.

Of course, he is only five weeks old, and his vision isn't as strong yet as it will be when he's a bit older. I suspect next year's visit with the Easter bunny may not run quite so smoothly.

Speaking of scary looking bunnies, take a look at a few old photos I found. No wonder the children are petrified.

Of course, it's Winston's first Easter, too, but no bunny pictures for him. Hey, I'm still trying to help him realize every man he sees is not a potential ax murderer. If a giant rabbit got hold of him it might set his training back for months.

However you celebrate the day, we hope you avoid the scary bunnies and have a wonderful Easter!

That bunny/baby pic is precious. Winston is a cutie too. Those old pictures are pretty frightening, aren't they? No wonder when I was little I thought clowns were a separate species.

Hilarious photos! I don't ever recall being taken, or having taken my children to have a photo with the Easter bunny.

Happy Easter to you, Winston and Henry too!

Happy Easter! I don't think we have the tradition of posing with an Easter bunny over here. Maybe that's a good thing? BOL!

Pat--From the angle you took the picture of Winston, he looks like a stuffed animal, with a head three times bigger than his body. He is soooo cute, I imagine that even if he does something naughty, you can't bear to discipline him.

Henry's first Easter. I think you're right. The next one might be a bit scary for him.

And as for the old photos, my favorite is the one where the boy is sandwiched between two Easter bunnies who have the kid trapped. They look like cult leaders. Seriously.

Of all the bunnies in your pictures, at least Henry's is the cutest... with the cutest baby of course. And the cutest pooch. It was good seeing you on Saturday! I'm sure your Easter was fun!

OMG! Winston is so cute in that pic!!! How do you stand the cuteness???

Henry is pretty cute too. My great niece was born a week before Easter...no Easter Bunny for her but she still looked very unhappy in her Easter pics!
